Mary trusted that the angel really was who he said he was and that she really was going to have a child.

She’d know if it was real sooner or later – she’d eventually see the natural signs of pregnancy. But that would have taken at least a few weeks since they didn’t have pregnancy tests!

She didn’t wait until she saw proof from a growing belly, she had hope. Luke 1:46-55 is Mary's song of hope because salvation had arrived in her womb.

Reflection Question:

Mary shows us how to hope in God's plan, even if we don’t know all the full details yet. How can we trust God with our uncertainties?
