Second Sunday in Advent: Faith

Love is the outpouring of our faith and just as Jesus gave himself for us, we can give ourselves to others.

Through Mary's faith, she served Elizabeth. I imagine her being in the middle of first trimester pregnancy symptoms – morning sickness, fatigue – and yet she still went and cared for her cousin for three months.

Our faith informs our actions, and we are called to selfless love.

Reflection Question:

Mary showed us love of neighbour. Does the outpouring of our faith and the guidance of the Holy Spirit help us notice opportunities to love others?
